An interesting paper regarding biogas production scenarios in middle-sized dairy farms in Poland was published with the contribution of Professor Jacek Dach, head of the research group of Poznan University of Life Sciences (PULS), partner of the MilKey project. Event date: November 18^th, 2020

On November 18^th, 2020, the concepts and goals of the MilKey project were presented by the project coordinator, Prof. Barbara Amon (Leibniz Institute for Agricultural Engineering and Bioeconomy, ATB) at the kick-off seminar of the research projects of the Joint call 2018 on “Novel technologies, solutions and systems to reduce the greenhouse gas emissions of animal production systems”. This online event was organized by ERA-NET SusAn with the support of FACCE ERA-GAS and ICT-AGRI 2. The main purpose of the event meeting was to introduce the projects funded under the Joint Call, which all started in 2020, providing insights on the ongoing research.

The concepts and goals of the MilKey project were orally presented by UZG partner in the context of the International Seminar at the Institute of Technology and Life Sciences summarizing the multiannual program “Technology and nature projects for innovative and effective and a low-carbon economy in rural areas”. The seminar was held online targeting scientists, national inventory compilers (National Centre for Emissions Management), policy makers (Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development) and agricultural advisors in Poland.

On September 28^th, 2020, the concepts and the goals of the MilKey project were orally presented by the project coordinator, Prof. Barbara Amon (Leibniz Institute for Agricultural Engineering and Bioeconomy, ATB) at the online kick-off meeting of the CGIAR-funded project: “Piloting and scaling of low emission development options in large-scale dairy farms in China” (https://cgspace.cgiar.org/handle/10568/110056). The project is coordinated by Hongmin Dong, member of the Advisory Board of MilKey.
